The dual-screen ASUS Taichi will run Windows 8 and is a bold and exciting take on the traditional tablet, in-fact it provides the best of both worlds and doubles as both Ultrabook and tablet.
The Taichi is unique in the looks department thanks to its dual screens (it sports a double-sided LED-backlit IPS/FHD display) with resolutions capable of reaching 1920 × 1080. With a touch screen on the outside of the lid, the Taichi could open up a whole host of new mobile possibilities. The Taichi is as light and thin as the Asus Zenbook and will offer uncompromised mobile performance thanks to a 3rd generation Intel Ivy Bridge Core i7 processor, fast SSD storage and dual band 802.11n Wi-Fi. We can expect the Asus Taichi to be made available in both 11.6' and 13.3' models towards the end of the year/early 2013.
Pros: Hugely powerful, stunningly beautiful and dual screens are strikingly different to any other tablet out there (yes even iPad).
Cons: Size. Price again could be a major determining factor, we hope ASUS don't price themselves out of the race.
