Microsoft has just unveiled Windows Phone 8, the next-generation smartphone operating system (OS) at its Windows Phone Summit event in San Francisco on Wednesday. The new Windows 8 phone software will be built on the same core software as its new upcoming Windows 8 OS for personal computers and the new Microsoft Surface Windows 8 Tablet.
