Next up on stage was Steve Sinofsky from the Windows team who opened with a big statement: 'A tablet that's a great PC, a PC that's a great tablet. A new kind of computing.' Interestingly and a significant departure from the Microsoft of old, Sinofsky spent considerable time talking through 'softer' aspects such as the tablet's design and Smart Cover touchpad before launching into its technical capabilities.
