Google+ trends: iOS 6, Shakira expecting a child

The Colombian-born pop star Shakira announced that she was expecting a baby in a statement on her website, although she did not specify when the child was due. Shakira has officially been together with Spanish international and Barcelona footballer Gerard Pique since March 2011. Google+ users are trending "Shakira," spreading news of her pregnancy and offering their congratulations to the couple.

Google+ users are also buzzing about the latest Apple OS update -- iOS 6 -- which was released on Wednesday. One of the major differences between iOS 6 and previous iOS updates is that Google Maps, which has been on the iPhone for five years, is now replaced with Apple's own mapping service, an update that is dividing users.
