Microsoft announces new Windows 8 hardware

With the release of Windows 8 just around the corner, Microsoft has come up wih brand-new hardware specifically designed for the Windows 8 interface. This new lineup of mice and keyboards feature Bluetooth connectivity, BlueTrack technology, and functions to allow fast and fluid navigation of the Windows 8 interface. Available starting October 2012, these new products will offered at 30% off in conjunction with the release of Windows 8 and Microsoft Malaysia's 20th anniversary. Among the items announced are:

The Wedge Touch Mouse

- An ultra compact mouse that connects to your computer via Bluetooth, elimnating tangled cables and frustration,

- A powersaving Backpack mode,

- Retailing at an estimated RM219

The Wedge Mobile Keyboard

- An ultra slim mobile keyboard designed specifically for tablet users

- It's a full keyboard that doubles as a tablet stand

- Retails at an estimated RM249
