Google+ users are buzzing about Google apps, the Curiosity's Mars landing, and the latest episode of the hit HBO series True Blood, which aired on Sunday.

Creating the most buzz under the topic "Google Apps" is the news that Google is intending to shut down a few of its lesser-used services, including Business Video and Team Apps as well as a number of company blogs and the podcast platform Google Listen.

These shutdowns will start on September 4 and the services will be transitioned to the Google Drive, Google Reader or Google Play platforms.

Users are buzzing about the touchdown on August 6 of rover Curiosity on Mars using the hashtag #MSL for "Mars Science Laboratory." NASA's one-ton rover, which will be studying the Martian environment, is the largest ever sent to Mars.
